Key
Audience
Identifying and grouping the people that are most likely to be interested
in your product / service is essential research for creating a targeted
customer-friendly site. Should your site be businesslike, family-orientated,
humourous etc? A site selling children's hobby horses would not be appropriately
presented in the same serious style as the New York Stock Exchange website
for example! That said, we do encounter situations where lightening the
mood of marketing a rather mundane product is advantageous to keeping
the customer interested to the point of a sale.
Corporate
Colours
If predetermined corporate colours are widely used within your company
(for example stationary / brochures / advertisements / store décor)
we advise this continuity to be extended to the design of your website.
This fundamental marketing strategy works on the basis that if corporate
colours are used in all promotions, your company will eventually become
recognised by its colours (if it isn't already). For example, McDonalds
internationally renowned colours are red and gold. These colours are used
in all of their promotional material / billboard advertisements etc. When
their website is clicked on, the red and gold colours of the site allow
us to immediately identify we are in the right place! Psychologically
the regard we hold for that company is transferred to their website. By
using the correct colours on the website, we establish a level of expectancy
and assurance.
Photographs
We can either extract photos you may already have saved on CD's or disks,
or we can scan them in from photographs or catalogues etc. It is then
our common practice to compress the images to optimise them for speed
loading whilst retaining high quality. In certain cases the photograph
may need to be reproduced in exact detail as a large image for customers
that would be willing to wait a few more seconds - in this case we would
recommend the use of thumbnail images linking to a larger more detailed

Flash
Flash is a sofware we use to design animations on the website.The designs
we create, elevate the whole appearance of your site. They add exciting
visual interest and are an excellent way of being memorable and expressive.
